Wild Apricot was entrusted with bringing a touch of circus magic to life for a client’s annual awards dinner and we delivered The Greatest Show in spectacular style.
Arrival & Welcome
Guests arrived at the Cordis Hotel, Auckland, where they were met with a showstopping entrance featuring a full-size circus carriage and a glamorous welcome from sequined and feathered performers alongside a live saxophone player in an LED-lit dress.
A custom circus-themed champagne wall offered both refreshment and intrigue on arrival, while the bar area shimmered with feathers and sequins, setting the tone for an evening of wonder.
Photo Moments
A red-and-white striped backdrop, luxe velvet drapes, and custom plinths topped with gold bowls of ostrich feathers created the ultimate photo opportunity, capturing the glamour and theatricality of the theme.
The Main Event
Following a grand announcement by the Ringmaster, 480 guests made their way into the grand ballroom via three velvet-draped entrances. Inside, they were transported into a fully immersive circus-inspired setting.
The ballroom featured:
Dramatic garlands of ostrich feathers
Sequin-covered dining tables
Gold candelabras
Custom-designed menus and table numbers
Entertainment & Atmosphere
A glowing light-up bar with circus-style paneling kept guests refreshed throughout the night, while a dazzling lineup of circus entertainment captivated the room and brought the theme to life in unforgettable fashion.
