For the Te Arawa Arataua Māori Agribusiness Summit, our design vision was to reflect the event’s powerful themes of agriculture, trade, climate change, and innovation. Every detail was chosen to honour these kaupapa while creating a setting that felt both purposeful and inspiring.
We began with the centrepieces working from the tables outward. Each featured a bespoke My Food Forest installation, uniquely tailored for the occasion. These striking displays incorporated Syntropic food forest lines carved into native punga halves, symbolising sustainability, growth, and interconnectedness.
Native plants filled the room, softening the space with their lush textures and grounding the event in a sense of place. This living, breathing backdrop brought a refined yet organic elegance that perfectly complemented the summit’s intent.
Our goal was to evoke a refined sense of purpose, and the results spoke for themselves. The environment not only supported powerful kōrero but also created an experience that was as emotionally resonant as it was visually memorable.
