Wild Apricot was proud to sponsor and style the NZ Virtual Assistant Awards 2026, transforming The Atrium into a warm and memorable setting for an evening celebrating the people who support businesses across Aotearoa.
The venue’s brick-and-steel industrial character provided a striking backdrop. Our brief was to soften the space while creating a lush, elegant atmosphere with a touch of magic. Floating greenery canopies, cascading wisteria, glowing paper lanterns and washes of colour brought warmth overhead, while gold circle arches dressed with orchids and monstera framed the stage and entrance. Black linen, native foliage and candlelit centrepieces completed the tables, with a black-carpet arrival and gold stanchions setting the tone from the moment guests entered.
The finished space balanced the venue’s industrial architecture with natural textures, dramatic lighting and refined details, creating a cohesive experience from arrival through to the awards presentation.
As part of the evening, we also had the pleasure of presenting the Top Performing Creative VA award to Stephanie Wium of Simply On Demand. It was a fitting moment at an event dedicated to recognising creativity, commitment and excellence within New Zealand’s virtual assistant community.
